The robust plastic body has 12mm hose-barb connections, a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel mesh and a transparent screw-off cap for quick visual inspection and cleaning.

Applications and compatibility
For 12mm flexible-hose systems on motorboats, sailing yachts, RIBs, fishing boats, day boats and camper/marine installations.
- Typical applications include freshwater pump intakes, small deck-wash systems, bilge or sump pump intake protection.
- Both connected hoses must have a 12mm internal diameter suitable for the barbs.
- Use only with liquids and temperatures compatible with the pump, hose and plastic strainer body.
- This is a debris strainer, not a drinking-water purification device.
Installation, maintenance and package contents
- Install where the transparent cap remains visible and accessible for servicing.
- Follow any flow-direction marking on the body and support hoses to avoid strain on the barbs.
- Secure both connections with suitable marine hose clips and check for leaks or air ingress.
- Isolate the system before opening; clean the mesh and sealing surfaces, then refit the cap evenly.
