Questions & Answers

Is this a genuine original part?

Yes, this is a genuine Shakespeare Marine product, ensuring the highest quality in maritime radio communication.

How do I know if it is compatible?

This antenna uses the global standard 1" x 14 TPI thread. If your boat has a standard ratchet mount or rail mount, this will thread directly onto it.

What is the difference between the 427-S and 427-N?

The 427-S (this model) features a 316-grade Stainless Steel ferrule, whereas the 427-N uses a Nylon ferrule. The S-version is recommended for better durability in high-vibration or extreme saltwater environments.

Note: Please verify your mounting requirements. Cable connector (PL-259) is supplied loose to facilitate easier cable routing through bulkheads. For technical support, contact 4boats.co.uk.
