SEAFLO 12V 3700GPH 13A High Flow Non-Automatic Bilge Pump

High-capacity 12V drainage for larger vessels

The SEAFLO SFBP1-G3700-13A is a 12V DC, 3700 GPH non-automatic submersible bilge pump for larger yachts, motorboats, fishing craft and workboats requiring substantial water-removal capacity.

It must be operated through a separate manual switch, correctly rated float switch, contactor or bilge controller. The cartridge-style design allows the motor section to be serviced without disturbing the installed base and plumbing.

Key Features

  • ✔ 3700 GPH nominal open-flow capacity with maximum head of 6 m.
  • ✔ Split quick-connect cartridge design for faster motor replacement and cleaning.
  • ✔ Submersible, ignition-protected construction with moisture-tight seals.
  • ✔ High-efficiency motor, stainless-steel shaft and anti-airlock protection.
  • ✔ Snap-off strainer base allows debris inspection and maintenance.
  • ✔ Straight or configured discharge options across the series.
  • ✔ Pump and control switch are separate components.
  • ✔ Designed to meet CE, RoHS, ISO 8846 and ISO 8849 requirements.

Boat compatibility and installation checks

  • For 12V DC vessels only; verify the battery, charging system, fuse, relay/switching and cable can support the 14 A load with acceptable voltage drop.
  • 3700 GPH is the nominal open-flow figure. Calculate installed output using actual lift, hose bore, length, bends and fittings.
  • Confirm whether the supplied outlet is 40 or 52 mm before purchasing hose or replacing another pump.
  • Use smooth-bore reinforced hose, minimise restrictions and provide anti-siphon protection where required.
  • Keep the strainer accessible and test the complete high-water system regularly.
  • Not suitable for fuel, oil, sewage, drinking water or abrasive liquids.
  • Package: one 13A Series pump with base and supplied discharge parts. External switch/controller, hose, fuse and main cable are separate.

Questions & Answers

Is this pump automatic?

No. It requires a separate manual or automatic control system.

Will it deliver 3700 GPH in the boat?

Actual output will be lower because vertical lift and plumbing resistance reduce flow.

What outlet size does it use?

The series uses 40 mm or 52 mm outlets. Confirm the supplied configuration shown for this exact unit before ordering hose.

Can it replace a smaller pump using the same wiring?

Not automatically. The 14 A load, fuse, cable, switching, hose and through-hull must all be checked.
