Overview
Aftermarket reversible 12V power trim and tilt motor for selected Yamaha 40HP and 50HP three-cylinder two-stroke outboards. It has a two-wire connection, four-bolt mounting flange and 11mm drive shaft, and must be matched against the original hydraulic trim assembly before purchase.

Installation and pre-fit checks
- Support the outboard, disconnect the battery and relieve trim-system pressure before removal.
- Compare the old motor's wires, ring terminals, bolt pattern, shaft diameter, shaft coupling and housing profile.
- Check trim relays, battery voltage, cable condition, earth path and hydraulic-pump freedom before installing a new motor.
- Replace the seal, clean the mating face and tighten the four mounting bolts evenly to Yamaha specifications.
- Refill and bleed with the specified trim fluid, then test full travel in both directions while checking for leaks and excessive current draw.
