How do I know if it is compatible?
Measure the diameter of your oar shaft where the rowlock sits. If the measurement is 45mm (approx. 1.77 inches), this collar will provide a standard tight fit.
The collar is very stiff, how do I install it?
For easier fitting, we recommend submersing the collar in hot, soapy water for a few minutes. This softens the plastic, allowing it to slide onto the oar shaft more easily. It will then shrink and tighten as it cools for a secure fit.
