Questions & Answers

Is this a genuine Garmin part?

Yes, this is an authentic Garmin product (SKU 010-02551-01) supplied in the original retail packaging with all standard accessories.

Does this unit support external maps like BlueChart?

No. The STRIKER series is a fishfinder with GPS, not a chartplotter. It does not have an SD card slot for pre-loaded maps. It uses Quickdraw Contours to allow you to create your own maps as you boat.

What is the difference between Vivid and the previous Striker Plus model?

The Vivid series introduces 7 new high-contrast sonar color palettes (such as Lava, Caribbean, and Moss) which help distinguish fish and bottom structure much more effectively than standard colors.

Note: Professional installation of the transducer is recommended to ensure accurate depth readings at high speeds. 12V battery system required for operation.
