What is the benefit of the "Front Fit" version?
The Front Fit (ff) version allows you to screw the charger into the panel from the front. This is vital when you cannot reach the back of the panel to tighten a standard retaining nut.
Can it charge a laptop via the USB-C port?
It provides up to 3.6A total output. While it will provide "charge assistance" for some tablets and smaller laptops, it is primarily designed for high-speed charging of mobile phones and standard tablets.
Note: 4boats.co.uk recommends verifying your panel thickness and hole diameter (30mm) before installation. Input connections require 6.3mm push-on blade terminals.
