Questions & Answers

Is this a genuine original part?

Yes, this is a genuine Airmar Smart™ Multisensor, the industry standard for NMEA 2000 data sensing.

How do I know if it is compatible?

If you have a NMEA 2000 backbone and a 51mm (2 inch) hole (or an existing DST800 housing), this sensor is a direct fit. Check your plotter for NMEA 2000 support.

Can I calibrate this without a multi-function display?

Yes. One of the primary advantages of the DST810 is that it can be calibrated directly via Bluetooth using the Airmar CAST™ app on any smartphone or tablet.

Note: Please verify your hull material before installation. Plastic housings are suitable for fiberglass and metal hulls only. For wood hulls, a bronze housing is required.
