Is this paint suitable for below the waterline?
No, Toplac Plus is a topside enamel designed exclusively for areas above the waterline. For hulls below the waterline, we recommend International antifouling products.
Do I need to thin this paint for brush application?
While Toplac Plus is ready to use, you can add up to 10% International Thinner No. 100 to improve flow in warm or windy conditions.
Can I apply Toplac Plus over old paint?
Yes, provided the existing paint is a 1-part finish in good condition. You should wash, degrease, and abrade the surface with 280-320 grit paper before applying the new coat. If the old paint is failing, it should be removed and the substrate primed with International One UP.
