Questions & Answers

Is this a genuine original part?

This is a premium-quality Blue Gee product. Blue Gee is a leading UK manufacturer of marine repair systems, and this resin is Lloyd's Approved for structural use.

How do I know if it is compatible?

This resin is compatible with all standard polyester glass reinforcements including Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) and Woven Roven. It is not compatible with epoxy-based systems.

What is the recommended mixing ratio?

For standard conditions, use the included catalyst at a ratio of approximately 1% to 2% (the provided 8g is designed for the 500g resin). In colder conditions, a slightly higher ratio may be required.

Note: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of wax before application. Always wear appropriate PPE when handling resin and MEKP catalyst.
